We realize you have options when it comes to putting a thumb on your Excavator. We have done our best to make it as simple as possible by providing information, photos and pricing of all 3 on one page.
Progressive Linkage: This is the "Holy Grail" of thumbs! If you are doing what we refer to as finicky work, then the full 180 degree movement, constant power band and fine movement of a pro link thumb is what you are after. Often preferred when working with stone, pipe and logs due to its lack of limitations when it comes to fully extending to place objects.
Regular Hydraulic: 9 times out of 10 this is what you are going to want to go with! A standard hydraulic thumb gives you flexibility, strength and a reliable thumb for a fair price. The thumb still obviously requires hydraulic plumbing but as long as you have that done you are looking at a fairly simple, quick installation.
Mechanical: Let's be honest, this option is here for machines that are not plumbed for a thumb and either cant be, or its not economical to do it for your future work load. Easy installs, and can be built as a pin on or weld on. The thumb remains in the same spot when in use and can manually be tucked away when not needed.
All thumbs, regardless of the size of machine or style you choose are built with AR400 Steel, can be built as a pin on OR weld on and at no extra charge we specifically design them to fit the spacing between your teeth or tines on existing buckets/rakes.
